LEAVE RULES
- No pupil should be
absent without obtaining prior permission from the Principal.
- If absence is due to
illness, a certificate of fitness from the doctor must be produced
on returning to school, along with the application for leave. The
same must be attached with leave application.
- Leave letter must be
addressed to the PRINCIPAL and not to the Class Teacher. It can be
mailed on school Email ID.

- Attendance till the
last day of a term is compulsory. Request for permission to leave
before that date or extension of the holiday after the commencement
of a new term will be entertained only in cases of emergency. Pupils
absent on the last day of a term or on the first day of a new term
are liable to be struck off the rolls.
- Children missing tests
/ examinations to participate in sports activities, NCC and
co-curricular activities and representing the School or
participating at the District, State, National and International
levels will, however, receive consideration.
- Repeated absence
without leave or unexplained absence for more than three days is
liable to result in the name of the pupil being struck off the
rolls. Re-admission in such cases may be granted, subject to vacancy
and only on payment of all dues.
- Parents are requested
not to take their children away from School during working hours.
Sending applications for attending social functions will not be
entertained.

VISITING HOURS
Parents can meet the Class Teachers and Subject
Teachers only during open house meetings. Parents are requested not to
disturb the teachers or go to their classes during school hours. For any
emergency, parents may contact the school office to obtain permission from
the PRINCIPAL. Please send lunch with your wards. If, for any reason, your
ward forgets to bring his / her lunch or books, kindly hand them over with a
slip bearing the student's name, class and section to the Sentry at the main
gate. Arrangement has been made to hand over the articles to your wards
before the lunch break. As a general rule the above practice must be kept to
the minimum. Parents who wish to meet the Principal may do so between 1200
hours to 1300 hours from Monday to Friday or by prior Appointment.
If parents wish to meet the Principal or any
teacher , specific forms included in the diary, should be submitted at the
office in advance.
HEALTH AND HYGIENE
Parents are required to fill the medical form
carefully and
completely as the health and well being of children is of
primary importance. Please, also state if the child is
susceptible to fits / convulsions or any other affliction or has
had any major health problems. Every possible care will be
taken of the child during school hours and first-aid given as and when
necessary. The school conducts regular medical
check-ups of the children and the parents are kept informed.
Utmost co-operation of parents in matters of the health and
hygiene of the children is sought to ensure their well-being
and healthy growth. In case a child is suffering from any
contagious ailment e.g. chicken pox, measles, mumps,
whooping cough, etc., he/she must observe a three week
quarantine period.

TRANSFER CERTIFICATE (T.C.) / WITHDRAWAL
Request of withdrawals must be given fifteen days
in advance via www. apsdigicamp.com login, followed by a visit, to the
school office to pay Rs. 30.00 as TC charges.
Withdrawal by Parent:
- Request for T.C. must
be sent 15 days in advance through Digicamp login. Request for
CEA/SC should be submitted 3 days in advance. Request for T.C, for
classes IX-XII, is to be submitted at least 30-40 days in
advance.
- Withdrawal due to
Poor Academic Performance: One failure for an academic session may
be condoned by permitting the student to repeat the class in which
he/she fails. Students who repeat the class for a second time will
not be granted admission in the School.
- Withdrawal on
Disciplinary Grounds : The Principal may, in the interest of the
School, order the withdrawal of a student from the school, should
the student's conduct, behaviour or influence, in the opinion of the
Principal, be detrimental to the general discipline of the
school.
- Refund of Security
Deposit will be credited to the parent's bank account within three
working days via NEFT/Payment Gateway. If the said amount does not
reflect in the parent’s account, the parent needs to inform the
school within 7 days. No claim thereafter will be
entertained.
ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY AND PROMOTION RULES
Promotion will be based on the weightage of the
whole year's performance.
- Minimum Attendance
for Annual Examination: A student will not be allowed to appear in
the annual examination if he/ she has not put in a minimum of 75 %
of the total attendance of the academic session, including
attendance in the previous school, if the student has been admitted
on transfer.
- Assessment of both
Scholastic and Co-Scholastic aspects of development over the total
span of learning time is done on a regular basis.
- It provides several
opportunities for the Schoolto identify the talent of the learners
at different times.
- Promotion is based on
the day to day work of the student throughout the year and also on
the performance in the terminal examination.
- Evaluation of
academic subjects isbased on the following:
a) Internal assessment - 20 marks.
- i) 10 marks from best of any two among
assessments I, II, III.
- ii) 5 marks for notebook maintenance,
class work, home work and assignments.
- iii) 5 marks for subject enrichment
activities.
b) Annual Examination - 80 marks.
Criteria for Promotion
- A Student has to
secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in the annual examination in each
subject and 33% out of 20 marks for the internal assessment.
- In class XI, a
student securing an aggregate of 45% but failing in one or two
subjects by not more than 5 marks will be eligible to take the
Supplementary Examination in the first week of March and will be
promoted to the next higher class, subject to his/her passing the
examination.
- It is mandatory to
pass in both Theory and Practical Exams separately in Class XI for
promotion to Class XII.
- Any student who
remains absent for reasons other than on medical grounds in any of
the tests is awarded zero in that particular subject. One who fails
to appear for the session ending examination, for any reason, shall
not ordinarily be promoted to the next higher class, even if he /
she secures sufficient marks in other Tests /Examination.
- Re-tests /
Re-Examinations will not be conducted for absentees.
- Parents can view
their ward’s marks details soon after each Open House meeting
through Digicamp. Result will be published only if parent attends
the Open House. Printed final report card with result will be issued
during open house, only at the end of the academic year.
- 12. No separate
written warning needs to be issued, for detaining a student, on the
basis of the result over the year.
- 13. Co-operation of
the parents will help their wards in maintaining regularity in home
assignments and regular appearance in the tests. Regular attendance
will better the performance of the child without needing private
tuition. Parents are requested to supervise the studies of their
wards regularly. No relaxation will be granted if any of the above
mentioned instructions are not followed strictly.
- 14. Students who fail
twice in the same class will not be granted admission to the School.
CHANGE IN NAME / DATE OF BIRTH
The number of requests for change in name / date of
birth are on the increase and CBSE does not entertain such requests.
Therefore, at the time of admission parents are requested to give the
correct names of pupil and parents and the date of birth of the pupil.
Thereafter, requests for change in these two documents will not be
entertained or accepted on any grounds.
