APS Kamraj road, has always set the bar high when it comes to protecting the environment and harnessing the bounties of nature. Sitting amidst lush greenery APS Kamaraj road, prides itself in being the path breaker in promoting zero waste practices. As part of its tireless effort and upholding the pledge to safeguard the environment, the school joined hands with the NGO  Pernod  Ricard India and pledged allegiance and support to the “Re-forest India campaign”. Ncc Cadets of 1 Kar Bn also participated in the drive.  Spearheading the plantation drive the Patron _Maj Gen J. V. Prasad GOC K& K Sub area,  led the students in planting saplings. Mr  Ashish Bansal Branch Manager- of the NGO was also present on the occasion. Speaking to  the children the he reminded them of their responsibility to the environment and  also encouraged them  to stay aligned  with the programme and follow eco-friendly practices. He told them to be eco-warriors and nature’s true friends by spreading  the message of replenishing our environment not just within the school but also their homes and neighbouring areas. The students took the Reforest India Pledge reaffirming their promise to reclaiming the lost glory and reclaiming the forests  for the future generations.
